Recording, score & sources
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart · Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major, K. 467 · II. Andante.
Robert Casadesus, piano; the Philharmonic-Symphony Orchestra of New York, conducted by Charles Munch. This historical recording comes from the University of the Arts Helsinki’s Taju archive, which dates the release to approximately 1953–1956 and labels it Public Domain Mark 1.0. This local preview is for evaluation; distribution rights vary by country.
MusicXML: Yiako187’s transcription, distributed in PDMX as CC0, with six individually encoded wind parts from MuseData’s NMA-derived source. All 104 bars are present. Thirteen instruments occupy fourteen staves; each oboe, bassoon, and horn has its own row.
The separate wind source’s redistribution terms still need review. Its files are not covered by the PDMX license. This player is a local preparation preview.
The original file is preserved. Measured triplet repeats are written out; hidden MIDI realizations are omitted, and explicitly tied hidden continuations are joined. Trills and grace notes remain notation, without invented individual attacks. The viewing score uses a fixed clef for each staff; original clef changes remain in the source.
This is a preparation preview. Edition differences and the recording alignment still require musical review before library acceptance.
Background sources: the Mozarteum’s Köchel catalogue and LA Phil’s programme notes.
